Laundry Mildew Tip

Published on 30 March 2013 by in Tips

Here is a laundry tip if your towels get left sitting damp in the washer dryer too long and have that musky mildew odor that never seems to completely go away.
Wash your towels one time in hot water with 1 cup of vinegar.
Then run again in hot water with 1/2 of baking soda.
This will strip your towels of all of that residue and mildew smell and will actually leave them feeling fluffy and smelling fresh. (Do not add laundry detergent to either wash. Just once with vinegar and once with baking soda.)

If you are having ongoing odor/mildew problems dure to a front loader washer, read our other, past tips.
