Laguna Woods

Mission Viejo
In 1965, a master plan for Mission Viejo was approved by the Orange County Board of Supervisors. One year later, John Forster’s dream of attracting settlers became a reality as families stood in line to pay $21,000 for homes on his former cattle range. In April 1966, these pioneering residents moved into the new neighborhoods near the intersection of La Paz Road and Chrisanta Drive.

Newport Beach
Newport Beach, incorporated in 1906, is a city in Orange County, California, 10 miles south of downtown Santa Ana. The city is currently one of the wealthiest communities in California and consistently places high in United States rankings.

Newport Coast
Newport Coast was a census-designated place until 2001, in Orange County, California, United States. Newport Coast was annexed into Newport Beach, California in 2001. Newport Coast is an affluent, new community south of the main body of Newport Beach. Rancho Santa Margarita
In November 1999, area voters opted to incorporate the Rancho Santa Margarita Planned Community and the neighboring Robinson Ranch, Dove Canyon, Rancho Cielo, Trabuco Highlands and Walden Communities. The newly formed City of Rancho Santa Margarita incorporated on January 1, 2000, and became the 33rd city in the County of Orange.

Robinson Ranch
Robinson Ranch is a mid-sized residential community located northeastern Rancho Santa Margarita south of Trabuco Canyon. It is one of the older communities in Rancho Santa Margarita. It has several condominium areas closer to Plano Trabuco Road and a large park. Major roads include Robinson Ranch and Shadow Rock.

San Clemente
San Clemente is a coastal community located halfway between San Diego and Los Angles at the southern tip of Orange County. It is located on the Pacific Ocean and is bordered by Camp Pendleton Marine Base on the South, Cleveland National Forest on the East and San Juan Capistrano/Dana Point on the North.

San Juan Capistrano
The City of San Juan Capistrano is a unique community grounded in a history of native American culture, the Mission established by Franciscan missionaries in 1776, and an agrarian past. Officially incorporated as a city in 1961, San Juan Capistrano recently celebrated 40 years of cityhood.

Trabuco Canyon
Trabuco Canyon is a small unincorporated community located in the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains in eastern Orange County, California, north of Rancho Santa Margarita. It lies partly within the Cleveland National Forest.
